A Welsh course will be starting at Washinton Gallery from Tuesday 12th January onwards for advanced learners who want to practice talking in Welsh. The course will be held every Tuesday, 7-8pm (term time) for 20 weeks (£48).

In the Lower Gallery we are currently showing a mixed exhibition of regular and new
gallery artists, including Shirley Anne Owen, John Davis, Richard O’Connell, Meurig Jenkins and Christian Ryan.

The lower gallery is currently showing a selection of photographs from the Penarth Pavilion Photography competition. All the pictures are available for sale, framed, at £45 each and proceeds go towards our community fund raising effort for the restoration and reopening of the Penarth Pavilion.

The revised bid for Heritage Lottery Funding has been submitted this week and the wheels are now in motion for the Pavilion Project to begin taking shape.
